The Stoneware and Redware pieces below draw inspiration from 19th and 20th-century pottery traditions of Lancaster and neighboring counties in Pennsylvania. We’ve added our own artistic flair to the rustic stoneware and the slip or sgraffito designs that were hallmarks of redware from that era. Some of the cobalt stoneware and intricate redware slip designs were beautifully crafted by my wife, Rose Albright.
